Tennis at Sedgefield
The tennis program at Sedgefield Country Club provides members with exciting challenges, learning opportunities and foremost, rewarding fun. Team competition is offered through four different divisions of ladies Gate City League teams, men’s and ladies USTA teams, Junior Interclub and Rallyball teams. In addition, the Sedgefield club calendar includes light-hearted socials, member-guest events and routine camps and clinics.
The reputable tennis facilities at Sedgefield Country Club feature five lighted, composition courts, one hard court and six pickleball courts. Members can also visit our pro shop, offering apparel, equipment and racquet stringing rounds out the facilities. Additionally, a full service state-of-the-art ball machine is available for members to use.
Sedgefield’s friendly and knowledgeable staff of PTR and USPTA certified professionals offer instruction for all ages and abilities. Adults and juniors ages five and up participate in team matches, private lessons and group clinics and lessons throughout the year.
One of multiple McConnell Golf properties with a tennis facility, Sedgefield members are offered access to some of the best courts in the state. Organized each year by McConnell Golf's Corporate Director of Tennis, interclub competitions and group outings are another way our members connect with each other and the sport itself.
